Road Scholars Charity Runners add meaning to the mileage by raising funds for the Road Scholars program. The funds you raise as a Charity Runner helps put at-risk teens in running shoes and apparel, provide half marathon training, transportation and pay for race entry fees to the Rock 'n' Roll Chicago Half Marathon.

The Road Scholars Charity Runner team has space available for all runners! If you were not able to register for the marathon during open registration or through the lottery, we have your entry!

Runners joining our team are asked to raise a minimum of $650. If you join the team after registration is closed for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, you are required to raise $850.

3. Contact Kenya Harris to receive registration code
4. Go to www.chicagomarathon.com to register for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon

What is Road Scholars?
CARA Road Scholars is an innovative approach to inspiring excellence in Chicago youth. This intervention program challenges teens to train for and complete a half marathon. Road Scholars uses running to teach at risk youth important lessons in commitment, dedication, and discipline, while improving self esteem and worth. Want to learn more about the program, click here!
