CHICAGO - Chicago Area Runners Association (“CARA”) is pleased to announce its continuing Board members and acknowledges the addition of four new board members, effective January, 2023. Members; Sidney Joseph Anderson, Dana Anderson, Jennifer Courtney and Nicholas “Niko” Nicholson, have joined the CARA’s governance, beginning their work for a two-year term. Collectively as a group the new board members bring a wealth of experience and expertise in the fields of technology, business, sales and the visual and performing arts. The quartet also has significant running experience having run over 75 marathons and participated in races throughout the United States and Chicagoland area. Additionally, the new board members have participated in numerous CARA programs and events over the last several years, including Lakefront 10 Miler & 5k, Summer Marathon Training and ‘Go Run.
